about
AN OPEN LETTER REGARDING DANGER.
Our new song Danger is now available on bandcamp.
In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis we fear that people who have had to rebuild their lives from the devastating bushfires this year will face increased hardship and therefore would like to contribute all the money made from the Bandcamp purchases of this song to support them.
This will operate on a pay what you like basis. We encourage you to find it within yourselves to dig deep and help out those in need.
If you’re unable to donate much (or at all) please don’t be discouraged from downloading the song free.
It’s a protest song and like all protest songs it belongs to the people.
We hope that in this context the song can really make even a small difference in the lives of people who are going to struggle.
When I write and a song is "done" I rarely like to edit or change things. My songs come from dreams, rants, abstract trains of thought, and often seem to come from a place outside my own consciousness when I’m idling or trying my best to concentrate hard on something completely different. Therefore I feel like as a piece of work, even after its completion earlier in 2019, I can listen and really get a snapshot of a time, a mood or even a version of myself that I disagree with.
In this song - the part I disagree with is “Why fight for a cause that’s already lost?”

lyrics
Can't find any shade outside of my house
Blister in the sky, its much hotter now
I think we're in danger because we in danger.
A room with a view can come at a cost
When you double down you've already lost
I think we in danger because we in danger.
Take what you want if you hate what you love
I think we're in danger because we in danger
Some people are old, some people are young
I think life should be fun for everyone
Our voices are tired from having to shout
Fire from the sky, our luck's run out
Fire from the sky, our luck's run out
Fire from the sky, our luck's run out
Fire from the sky, our luck's run out
I think we're in danger because we in danger.
Take what you want if you hate what you love
You can burn your guilty flame cos there's no one to blame
Nah Fuck That
I think were in danger because we in danger.
The roof of my car drips onto my shoulder
Was it always bad or am i just older?
Why fight for a cause that's already lost?
Planet for a job all comes at a cost
